Lohan to Portray Famous Porn Gal Lovelace

Reports out of Hollywood have been confirmed: Lindsay Lohan will portray Linda Lovelace in an upcoming indie film about the famed porn star. These reports have been confirmed by long time friend Tyler Shields who was also the source behind the photos placed on Twitter showing Lohan with a gun, a clear violation of her probation.

Whether Lohan will be free for the premiere of this new movie, titled Inferno, remains to be seen. The embattled actress is facing jail time in her most recent run in with the law for violating probation on several occasions. She is now wearing a SCRAM ankle monitoring system that will report to her probation officer on alcohol intake.

Many in Hollywood can see a similarity between Lohan and Lovelace. Lovelace herself had a run in with the law over drug possession following her mega porn hit Deepthroat. During the 1970ís when she was one of the biggest porn stars in the world she was viewed in the same light as Lohan on most occasions.
However, the similarities stop there according to those that know Lohan well. Lovelace divorced her husband following the lackluster soft core sequels to Deepthroat. She would eventually remarry and then become an outspoken Anti-Porn activist. Before her death in 2002 she was the face of the Anti-Porn movement.

Hollywood is still all abuzz with the news that Lohan will portray Lovelace and pictures have started to surface on the internet from the filming. Those close to the film say it will be an accurate representation of the life that Lovelace lead, starting with her stormy relationship with husband Chuck Traynor who allegedly beat Lovelace and forced her at gunpoint into the porn business.

Still many wonder if Lohan can keep it together long enough to complete the film.
